Robert Pierson comes from a heritage steeped in masonry skill. He apprenticed with his father and older brother at a very young age. From these traditional roots he began to incorporate his own artistic style.

Now, after more than 30 years of successfully operating his own business and establishing his place as a noted stoneworking artist, Robert still personally designs each unique masonry project.

Residing with his wife (herself an artist) on a remote piece of land in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California has been instrumental in giving Robert his inspiration. Their gentle co-existence with nature as a lifestyle is reflected in his work, harmonizing masonry design with nature.
